Why would I use MailCharts if my competitors are not in the database?

The MailCharts Index is designed for ecommerce email marketers. Our dataset of 2,500+ brands likely includes brands that are comparable to the brands you’re looking for, with similar audiences and strategies.

The aggregated data can help you at both the strategic level and in all of your campaign planning, development, and execution.

Here are some of the use cases even if your direct competitors are not in the MailCharts database:

  • Email design and inspiration
  • Content and subject line ideas
  • Journey strategy and insights
  • Weekly/Monthly/Annual campaign strategy
  • Promotional ideas
  • Sending behavior

How can you guarantee that I will have a positive ROI on this purchase?

MailCharts Pro is an organized, curated, and highly effective competitive intelligence database for ecommerce marketing teams. We’re an alternative to Googling for campaign creative, scouring best-of examples on Pinterest, and wrangling that messy, spare Gmail inbox. If a more organized and collaborative approach to campaign planning doesn’t seem worth it to you—it probably isn’t.

Lifecycle journeys

How do I know you have all the journeys? Do you have every kind of email journey a brand could send?

No. We trigger and collect emails and data on the 11 essential email journeys that every ecommerce brand needs to send:

  • Onboarding
  • Cart abandonment
  • Purchase
  • Booking abandonment
  • Browse abandonment
  • Onboarding subscription
  • Active subscription
  • Winback
  • Subscription abandonment
  • Birthday
  • Loyalty

Onboarding and Cart abandonment journeys are available for every brand that’s in the MailCharts Index and other journey types are available for curated brands.

Why you are not refreshing lifecycle journeys more often?

After triggering, classifying and analyzing thousands of journeys, we have learned that brands rarely change their triggered journeys more often than once a year.

Some brands might update their content – colors, banners, images and copy – seasonally or to coincide with major campaigns or events, but not the underlying strategy governing the goal of each email, the number of emails in the series, or sequencing intervals.

However, if you would like to see a journey sooner, drop us a line at [email protected] and we’ll prioritize the journey you need.
